Everything You Need To Know!
- Dress Rehearsal/Recital Pics take place at Dance Attitudes!
Only ONE guardian is allowed at dress rehearsal.
***RECITAL PICS ARE DONE THE SAME DAY AS YOUR SCHEDULED DRESS REHEARSAL DAY! YOU WILL RECEIVE INFO ON HOW TO PURCHASE THEM PRIOR TO THIS DAY!

AS ALWAYS, IN CELEBRATION OF ALL OF THE REC STUDENTS COMPLETING THE YEAR OF DANCE, WE WILL GIVE OUT MEDALS WHEN YOU ARRIVE!
- Please do not wear your Recital tights for rehearsal! You can wear other tights or no tights, but Recital tights should be saved for the big day!
MAKEUP:
We don't have specific makeup requirements for recreational students, but we suggest neutral browns/golds for eyeshadow and pink or red lipstick. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE COLORS, YOU CAN POP BY THE STORE! Please remember that stage makeup allows you to see your child's features under the lights, so please use more than you would think.
HAIR:
- GUM DROPS, GUMMY BEARS & SWEET TARTS classes can do anything with their hair, but please have their hair away from their face.Headpiece goes wherever you want it in your hairstyle!
- SWEET BEANS, JELLY BEANS, JELLY BURSTS, STARBURSTS, STAR LEVEL AND ALL LEVEL classes should have a slicked, with gel, center part low ponytail at the nape of the neck (we suggest you straighten the ponytail for a clean, finished look but it is not required)
*If your costume says to wear a bun, please disregard and put the headpiece where the paper says but change the word "bun" to "ponytail".
SHOES
- Bring ALL of your dance shoes including your sneakers if you are in hip hop!
EXTRAS
Please note you will also need pajama shorts or pants at the Recital to wear with the finale shirt during the finale. Not every class will get to wear pajama bottoms, but please pack them just in case. We do not rehearse finale at Dress Rehearsal. If you are unsure if you should bring something, please just bring it! :)
- Please remember - do your best and we will help you with anything that needs to be fixed at rehearsal. Dress Rehearsal is supposed to be a practice run!

Please arrive on time sharp, already DRESSED and READY with hair and makeup done. Please go straight to your assigned room LISTED below to receive your custom medal and custom finale sleep mask and T-shirt! These goodies are given out first. PLEASE BE ON TIME!!!! No later, No earlier to keep traffic moving!
*You will be at DA between 1 - 1 1/2 hours per class and most of the time may be waiting around! During this time, your child will receive a medal, take recital pics and dress rehearse their dance/s!
