RACHEL COMERCHERO
Miss Rachel Comerchero Head SHot           Miss Rachel Comerchero started out her dance career at Star Time in Manalapan, NJ when she five- She took a tap class for one year. The following year, when she was six, she took gymnastics at World Cup and The Gymnastics Club where she was on the competitive gymnastic team from age 6 to 9 years old.
At the young age of 10, Miss Rachel started dancing at Dance Attitudes. She was one of the very first students at D.A. She started in the summer of 1994 when she was in fifth grade and she danced all the way through High School. Her second year at D.A., she was placed on our first team along with 49 other lucky students. The team ranged from 1st grade to 12th grade. The following year, the large team was split and Miss Rachel was placed on our "B Team". She competed that year and had a wonderful experience. From there, Miss Rachel went on to the "C Team" and kept graduating from "Chocolate" to "Maroon" and finally to "Midnight". You will be excited to hear that Miss Rachel was on our very first "Midnight Team". She was an original member of this exclusive team. Her competition experiences ranged from all disciplines and her teachers as a child were Miss Paige (who was her first Dance Attitudes Teacher), Miss Julie, Miss Shari, and Mr. Andrew. She was an original dancer in our first "Rock this Town", and "Question". Miss Rachel was in the Marlboro Players and she was cast as Dainty June in Gypsy. She was an amazing performer with a beautiful voice and she even sang in our very first recital in 1995 at Dance Attitudes.
Over the years, Miss Rachel has competed hundreds of times and participated in many conventions across the country. She most recently went to the "Dance Life Rhee Gold" Convention in Florida where she took many tap classes and lectures. An interesting fact about Rachel is that she bought her first professional pair of tap shoes when she was at that convention which are stunning and they were specially ordered for her. They are the most different pair of tap shoes you have ever seen so If you get a chance, ask her to see them and feel how heavy they are!
Further, Miss Rachel is not only talented but she is quite intelligent- She graduated from Freehold Township High School and went to George Washington University for 2 years and then she finished her undergraduate with a BA degree in English Literature from Rutgers University.
Miss Rachel Comerchero has been a teacher here at Dance Attitudes for 6 years. She danced, assisted, then taught and now she is a full time employee. We see Rachel everyday and are lucky to have her on our staff. Her presence at our school cannot be duplicated...............................
We love you Miss Rachel!
